About the event
Join the Pride Taranaki Walking Group on the second Sunday of every month as we discover a new walkway, park, or scenic spot somewhere across Taranaki.
Each month is a little different — from coastal paths to peaceful parks — but the vibe is always the same: friendly, inclusive, and easygoing.
This month we are taking the Guided Historic Rainbow Walk path around New Plymouth centre in conjunction with Puke Ariki to hear the stories of our past and share your memories of the 'old days'.
Meet at Puke Ariki Muesum Foyer. Note this walk is around 1.5 hours.
And because no great walk is complete without a good kōrero afterwards, we finish with an optional coffee catch-up nearby.
Whether you come solo or bring a friend, you’ll be welcomed with open arms. 🌤️
